The main objectives of the Department are-

1. To enable the students to understand the classroom lectures, read test books, do reference readings.

2. To enable the students to participate in discussion, write assignments and face examination.

3. To inculcate some basic values like life skills, scientific attitude and awareness regarding life and nature amongst the students.

4. To acquaint the student with major forms of knowledge and the techniques of subject.

5. To enable the students to prepare mentally and morally to face the Info-tech Science world.

6. To encourage the students to do systematic and research oriented studies.

7. To shape overall personality development of the students.
